Red Bull and the F1 have more money than God. It isn't cheap to run an F1 team and Red Bull is constantly going to extremes with their sponsorship and media efforts on top it. Now that the Circuit of the Americas is set to go down in Texas next fall, Red Bull took it upon themselves to win the hearts and minds of the luke-warm American fan base. And how better to do it than big Texas-style complete with long horns, rugged cattle rustlers and plenty of desert silt being tossed into the air.

We just didn't know it was all going to happen on slicks! Yeehaw!

We reported a few weeks back that F1 veteran and Red Bull test pilot, David Coulthard took out one of the F1 machines for one serious Texas romp. Not just on fully prepped tarmac either but uneven gravel roads, silty dry riverbeds and everything that left a trail of dust miles long. It seemed as if the F1 car was never fully connected to the ground and was floating over everything in a constant 4-wheel drift scenario. Coulthard even clips a few gravel apexes with a pricey carbon fibre front spoiler to boot. Seems Red Bull is so ready to rock the US crowds and we suggest checking out the finished video after the jump stat!
