Lexus LFA roadster spotted at D1GP drift event

Ever since the launch of Lexus' super hot LFA Coupe, gearheads have been wondering if or when the manufacturer would chop the top and create an open air version. Then, at Detroit in 2008, a drop top version appeared on the show floor. What didn't appear was any sort of details or any further news.

The guys over at CarScoop got their hands on a video that shows a white on red LFA convertible taking part in the D1GP Kick Off that began today outside the Tokyo Auto Salon.

We have no more details then that at this time, other than to say that this is very much a driver as you will see in the video after the jump. It also includes some pretty hot competitive drift action too!!!
