How not to drift a Lexus IS-F

While the Tokyo Auto Salon was full of glittering tuner toys inside the show, outside the scene was kept hopping with the antics of some D1GP stars and the surprise appearance of an LFA Roadster.

While the pros put on an incredible display of talent, there was apparently an amateur hour which provided a whole different type of entertainment. The LFA's little brother, the IS-F is popular among some well heeled drifters. Just like other forms of motorsport however, a fat wallet is no indication of driving skill, as this video after the jump shows.

There was a time when a driver could hide his more embarrassing fubars from his friends, but thanks to Youtube and good quality cell phone cameras, there is no escaping from ones own ineptitude.
