The Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto had more than enough hardware to please everyone from soccer Mom to hardcore car guys. Toyota kicked off the day with a stunning dance display from i-illuminate to profile the Prius family as well as the RAV EV and the soon-to-be-classic the Scion FR-S and it continued on from there.
Mercedes revealed the Canada-Only B-Class but also wow'ed the crowd with their C63 AMG Black Series. Subaru unveiled their XV CUV in brilliant orange but curiously didn't bring out the BRZ. Mazda focused on fuel misers and well, so did Acura with their NSX which like it or not is a Hybrid. Speaking of Hybrids, the Jaguar C-X16 Concept in its only Canadian stop also runs a Hybrid drivetrain to push this cat around. BMW not to be outdone on the concept front, brought the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept a study in driving experience and network connectivity.
After the many reveals, the herd headed downstairs to take in some serious classics and many exotics. Although the Aston Martin One-77 had us drooling, the Pagani Zonda R made us emotional as we gravitated towards its all carbon silhouette.
There were lots of photos but for now feel free to dig in to the gallery from media day and to check back as there is more to follow.
