We all share a special bond with cars, from the first one you own to the restoration project you plan to build someday. For most of us, cars are much more than basic transportation and we tend to take pride in whatever we drive. The dents, dings and chips are often the result of exposure to the elements and many years of enjoyable use.

Well, the car crazy folks at Castrol are here to help give some deserving cars a much needed makeover. The Castrol Edge Awesome Restoration Project is a unique vote-based contest aimed at giving three lucky enthusiasts a chance to restore their ride... for FREE!

To participate in this cool contest, visit the contest site and while your there check out the diverse collection of cars fighting it out in the top ten, including hot classics like a Volkswagen Corrado VR6, BMW 2002, 1967 Chevy Camaro, Volvo P1800, 1968 Ford Mustang, 1960s Jaguar S-Type, Land Rover Series III, and a 1981 Mazda RX-7 just to name a few.

Castrol is known for their lengthy list of durable performance products and this unique promo contest plans to take that protection and durability to the next level with a few amazing restorations.

Which one should win ? A V8, a V6, a V4 or how about a V0.

Hint: Only one of these beauties features NO CYLINDERS under the hood and that's the one that is most deserving of this Castol professional restoration.
