Latest Depth of Speed profiles 12-year long Skyline dream

"I bought it to drive it. I bought it to enjoy it." Those are the sentiments of Eric Bauer, the subject of the latest in Josh Clason's Depth of Speed series, and owner of this classic Nissan Skyline. Bauer says he dreamed of owning this car for 12 years and finally, when the time was right, it was time to, as he put it, "take the plunge."

Bauer teaches 3D modeling where he helps his students get a start on a career in car design. To him, this vintage Skyline is a perfect blend of shape, sound and history. Bauer says he's having the opposite of buyer's remorse, and we hope that feeling lasts.
