The classic BMW E30 is known for its great performance and timeless design. The sought after (and budget friendly) chassis is often preferred by enthusiasts. This particular E30 and it's driver were caught crashing the party at a recent CSCS drift event in Toronto Motorsports Park.

After performing some tandem drift maneuvers alongside a tire-smoking Nissan, the RWD BMW loses control and plows into the hay-bales and crowd barrier. Good thing these German sedans are built like tanks, as the E30 takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The driver and his trusty sedan somehow keep it together with minimal damage. Upon encouraging cheers from the crowd, they continue the drift demo as the show must go on (post-crash and all)!

It may be akin to professional wrestling, but clearly, if you don't have the skill or experience, you are gonna get hurt or make a mess... Between this and the Subaru that flipped around this time last year, I wonder how much longer TMP is going to be able to afford insurance... know I'll watch the road course from the drag racing stands thanks... the few hundred extra feet might just save my life.

David...you seem offended. Get over it.

Drifting is the motorsports equivalent to "professional" wrestling - pretty much on par with monster trucks, but with fewer rednecks and more "gangstas".
