We've all seen it and we're sure a percentage of you have done it. We're talking about running a stale yellow or a ripe red and disaster can strike when you enter any intersection. What we see here is a traffic cam image from an accident in Roselle Park, New Jersey where one dark coloured sedan decided to try his luck at running the light and it turned into a mega fail.
Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident because what you are abhttp://ca.autoblog.com/2012/07/17/red-light-runner-launched-into-airborne-pirouette/#continuedout see see is shocking. From two angles the speeding car, clips a motorist proceeding on the green, the car is tossed to the side mounts the median and clips the pole. The resulting accident sees the car do a complete 360s and a bit of a barrel roll to stick a perfect landing. The Russian judge gives the performance a perfect 10/10!
The company that maintains the camera for the region American Traffic Solutions (ATS) typically doesn't post clips like this to YouTube. But apparently they decided it was worth showing to the public as a deterrent to curb the problem of running red lights.
