Face it, we all love watching a good prank video, but this display of distracted driving may have gone too far by faking a freak car accident. It seems North Carolina resident Manny Perez just couldn't resist the reckless joke after spotting a backwards-facing truck on the highway in front of him. The fake head-on collision prank is one of the oldest tricks in the book, but catching it on video for the world to see has made the YouTube clip spread like wildfire.
Watch this beaming prankster as he dangerously sets up his camera phone and then surprises his sleeping wife by screaming out, "Babe! Wake up! There's a truck coming!" Funny thing is that this type of foolishness could actually cause a real accident to happen, as the driver (with his children in the car) carelessly films himself and has no idea how his unsuspecting wife might react. Heck, she may have tried to grab the steering wheel instead of hitting him.
His unsafe and childish antics so proudly displayed on YouTube have since sparked serious controversy, with angry comments like, "You are recording yourself while you're driving on the highway, with your kids in the car? I hope someone at Child Services sees this video and pays you a little visit," continuing to roll in. Take a look and judge for yourself.
