Waking up to find a new Porsche in your driveway sounds like a dream come true for many enthusiasts. The creative minds at Pfaff Automotive have found a very clever way to tease prospective buyers into picturing a brand new Porsche in their lives (literally).
Pfaff's unique idea put one of the dealership's white 911s in front of a number of large (read: expensive) Toronto residences as part of their innovative direct mail marketing campaign. Ad agency, Lowe Roche sent stealthy photographers to driveways around the city, creating custom ads featuring a Porsche parked in front of a prospective owners' actual home!
The strategic photos were then instantly printed and left at each affluent home along with the witty caption, "It's closer than you think." The sales team at Pfaff Porsche has also enjoyed a boost in sales linked directly to the "trespassing" campaign, with a 52 per cent response rate and numerous test drive requests.
