BMW Motorsport turns 40, celebrates with old home movies

Is there anything that gets better with age than wine? Why yes, motorsports fans, that would be racing footage. BMW has gone down to the cellar to create this four-and-a-half minute video chronicling the history of its Motorsport division as part of BMW M's 40th anniversary celebration.

From the seminal 3.0 CSL race car to the M1 and the original M3, the first two-thirds of the video is devoted to the good stuff before it devolves into a typical branding commercial.
