Motorcycle crash and burn can ruin a pretty good day in California [w/video]

As the fall season kicks in for us here in Canada, it's still prime riding season for motorcyclists in California. What starts out as a good day to head out on a bike ride suddenly goes from bad to worse after a quick pitstop at the local gas station for some go juice.

As if having your bike catch on fire, post-fillup isn't bad enough, watch on as the rider then wipes out as he returns to the scene on a different bike to bring some paperwork to police. At least we know that all the pertinent emergency services were on location for the second instance.

Kudos to the cameraman and having the clarity of mind to make an immediate, calm and direct phone call to 911. (In an emergency, being calm, direct and clear while calling emergency services can be the difference between life or death.)
