Motorcycle safety is very important, especially when you're racing at 150 km/h or more on a Ducati 1098 superbike. Professional racer Maxime Berger found himself in a sticky situation when the magnesium rear wheel of his Ducati shattered and broke loose from the rest of his bike during a race.

Luckily, no one was seriously hurt in the crash as Berger and the bike went sliding safely down the track after the impromptu blowout occurred. Watch the video clip as it clearly shows the wheel separate as the rider comes whipping through a tight turn at full speed.

No way that guy was going 150...the way he fell and how quickly his ass skid stopped, he was going way slower...but it still must have hurt!
