Need For Speed Most Wanted launches live action car chase video

The legendary Need For Speed franchise has built a strong reputation for tire smoking, police evading, exotic car action and luckily... some things never change!

This awesome live action trailer is in honour of the forthcoming Need For Speed Most Wanted, scheduled to hit shelves later this month (Oct 30). Watch the classic rivalry between law-breaking exotics and police pursuit vehicles spill onto city streets as a massive car chase ensues in this epic promo video.

The team at EA clearly still has a good sense of humour too, as a bright yellow Ford Focus ST (perhaps with Ken Block behind the wheel?) steals the show after drifting past police and drawing everyone's attention away from the pack of high-horsepower exotics. As an added bonus, this high speed pursuit is set to the old school soundtrack of Sugarhill Gang's Apache (Jump on it), so be sure to turn it up for full effect!
