This bridge in Durham, NC continues to claim the tops of trucks and roofs on buses so often, that it spawned a dedicated website (11foot8.com) to showcase the foolish antics of the latest bridge victims.
Low clearance can be a real challenge for many drivers, especially those who are rarely behind the wheel of such large vehicles unless its moving day. This video footage proves just how often people disregard the large 11-foot-8 warning sign, only to end up paying the ultimate price.
