What could be better than driving a Lamborghini along the twisty mountain regions of Italy? Drifting it along those roads of course! Looks like the lucky crew at Car and Driver got their hands on a rare RWD version of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 on a recent trip to the Raging Bull's county of origin.
It seems like today's more modern supercar technology has quickly lead to the extinction of many rare beasts similar to the LP 550-2. Equipped with a classic six-speed manual (open-gated gearbox of course), rear-wheel-drive and a raw, unboosted 5.2L V10 producing 542 horsepower, this Lambo checks off every feature a driver would expect in a quintessential exotic monster!
Click here to watch the LP550-2 put through its paces, as Car and Driver takes this drift-happy Lamborghini for a spin.
