The BTTF kit, originally submitted at the Lego Cuusoo user-submitted design site, passed through a lengthy review process by Lego before being approved for production. One of the designers, Masashi Togami, is a part-time contractor for the Lego Cuuso site and will donate his one per cent royalty to a worthy cause: the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's Research.
