Watch a Morgan Plus 8 be hand-crafted in two minutes

The Morgan Motor Company has been building vehicles since 1909 and built its first proper car – as opposed to a three-wheeler, or cyclecar – in 1936. That was the 4/4, and although it's been joined by seven other models, it is still being made today.

The Plus 8 is one of those other models, and the Telegraph sent a crew to watch it being made. An eight-cylinder version of the Plus 4 (the Plus 4 has a larger four-cylinder engine than the 4/4), it takes 30 days to produce each sample – hand-fashioning the wooden body in the image above is just one reason why. No need to spend the month watching, though, for the Telegraph has edited the process down to two delightful minutes for your enjoyment in the video below.
