Mercedes-Benz lands on drivers lap after Korean car crash mayhem

Posted Feb 6th 2013 7:59PM

Remember how your driving instructor insisted that you keep both hands on the wheel at all times? Recall how he warned you of the unforeseen dangers of the road and urged you to avoid the fast-food eating, cell phone talking, one-hand-steering, makeup applying habits of modern drivers?

Truth be told, there are some auto accidents that are completely unavoidable - some simply find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. We suspect the driver of the vehicle in the following video may have been up to a little one-hand (or knee) steering, cell phone talking, fast food eating or a combination thereof prior to launching his car over a median and crashing squarely onto the dash of another car.

Hit the jump to view the crash video of this airborne carnage and don't forget to keep your stick on the ice and your hands on the wheel.

EDIT: As our astute commenter pointed out, this vehicle appears to be a SsangYong Rexton, and we have to agree upon closer inspection.

*Viewer discretion is advised as the occupants are injured in this crash, though they survived the incident.

That's not a Benz, flying over the median hedge (!), but rather looks like a SsangYong Rexton. Yet do get some points though, as they are powered by licensed built Benz engines.
