BMW's 6 Series Gran Coupe is a grand sedan with sexy stature and a little less rear headroom - in a sentence. But having driven it on curvy Californian roads, we found it lacked grip and could use beefier brakes to match its power and heft. BMW's M department has quickly taken care of our concerns in the all-new 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe... and added another hundred-sixty horses.
Drivers who want the performance of BMW's M5 but don't want to blend in with the M5's crowd-oblivious styling will find the M6 Gran Coupe capturing more sidewalk glances. The car's interior is also gorgeous - probably the most luxurious and cozy of the lineup.
BMW M's 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo V8 is found under-hood, producing 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. A high-torque 7-speed M-Double Clutch Transmission transfers power to the ground, assisted by BMW's trick Active M Differential. Plenty of thick black strips can be laid at will.
BMW Canada claims "it's the best M car ever made" a lofty claim but can guarantee it will deliver to goods on the thrill front.

The gatekeepers of BMW M have told us that the new 2013 BMW M6 Gran Coupe will be available in Canadian dealerships in April of this year at a starting price of $127,900. This places the M6 Gran Coupe as one of the most expensive and no doubt one of the most exclusive BMW's ever sold.
BMW Canada announced that the first 20 M6 to be sold in Canada will feature a limited edition package and will include a European delivery trip to tour the BMW factory in Munich and pick up the car in person.
