Land Rover 'Parkour' ad shows off-road beauty without featuring a vehicle

Posted May 1st 2013 3:57PM

After 65 years of building globe-conquering luxury vehicles, Land Rover is proving that its off-road abilities are so well known that it doesn't even have to feature a single vehicle in its advertising to convey its message. Rather than showing off a new model such as the 2013 Range Rover or the new 2014 Range Rover Sport, Land Rover's Parkour Roam Free commercial instead shows a quartet of male parkour traceurs running, jumping and flipping around in the wilderness.

Despite not showing any of its products, Land Rover has managed to create a spot that is actually both entertaining and beautiful. Check out the video posted below, and then let us know in the comments whether or not you think such marketing can be effective.

Very effective ad. So many car ads are alike. This ad makes you say WTF? and then want to watch it all over again because it is so beautiful.
