Paul Walker, 40, the Hollywood actor made famous by the much loved Fast and the Furious film series, died on Saturday afternoon in a shocking car crash that occurred in Santa Clarita, CA, just north of Los Angeles. We've received confirmation that this is in fact, a true report. His death has now been confirmed on Walker's own Facebook page with the following message.
Reports say the Porsche Carrera GT Walker was riding in hit either a post or a tree before bursting into flames. The driver, who has not yet been identified, was also reportedly killed. Walker will always be remembered most fondly as the charismatic actor who played Brian O'Connor, opposite Dominic Torreto, played by Vin Diesel. Walker was in the middle of filming of the 7th installment of the Fast and the Furious series, with the 8th already having been green-lit. The future of the popular Hollywood film franchise without Walker remains unknown at this time.
