<br />
According to a recent KRC Research survey of licensed drivers, approximately 51 per cent of respondents agreed that the road could be easier to see at night. 20 per cent said they sometimes avoid even getting behind the wheel after dark because it's too difficult to see.<br />
<br />
Surprisingly, though the survey suggests that 37 million people won't drive at night, noteworthy is the fact that half of them are under the age of 55.<p><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/28/driving-at-night-just-plain-unnerving-survey/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Driving at night just plain unnerving: survey</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/by-the-numbers/" rel="tag">By the Numbers</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/sunday-drive/" rel="tag">Sunday Drive</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/28/driving-at-night-just-plain-unnerving-survey/">Driving at night just plain unnerving: survey</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com">Autoblog Canada</a> on Thu, 28 Oct 2010 11:53:00 EST. <br />
Formerly the domain of t-shirts, mouse pads, and collector dolls in military garb, fans of the forthcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops video game from Activision will have the option to display their enthusiasm for the highly anticipated warfare game with the vehicle they drive.<br />
<br />
Jeep has partnered with Activision and introduced the Limited-edition 2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition, available at select dealerships this November to coincide with the release of the actual game on PC, PlayStation3 and Xbox 360.<p><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/28/chrysler-wrangles-wargame-tie-in-with-call-of-duty-the-jeep/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Chrysler wrangles war game tie-in with Call of Duty, The Jeep</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/off-road/" rel="tag">Off-Road</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/chrysler/" rel="tag">Chrysler</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/toys-games/" rel="tag">Toys/Games</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/technology/" rel="tag">Technology</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/humour/" rel="tag">Humour</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/suv/" rel="tag">SUV</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/28/chrysler-wrangles-wargame-tie-in-with-call-of-duty-the-jeep/">Chrysler wrangles war game tie-in with Call of Duty, The Jeep</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com">Autoblog Canada</a> on Thu, 28 Oct 2010 11:52:00 EST. <em>New Lexus commercial featuring the world's coolest driving simulator highlights forward thinking of luxury automaker, makes gamers drool.</em><br />
<br />
Lexus' latest innovation in its "pursuit of perfection" isn't a new vehicle, it's the idea -- or wishful thinking -- of a car that will never have an accident. The automaker is using the world's most advanced driving simulator to enable its engineers to design technology that will help make driving safer, as shown in a TV commercial viewable below.<p><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/12/luxus-invents-worlds-coolest-videogame/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Lexus invents world's coolest video game</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/luxury/" rel="tag">Luxury</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/lexus/" rel="tag">Lexus</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/toys-games/" rel="tag">Toys/Games</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/technology/" rel="tag">Technology</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/safety/" rel="tag">Safety</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/concept-cars/" rel="tag">Concept Cars</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/12/luxus-invents-worlds-coolest-videogame/">Lexus invents world's coolest video game</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com">Autoblog Canada</a> on Tue, 12 Oct 2010 11:48:00 EST. <br />
After a successful pilot project last June in which 40 select Mercedes dealers were given an iPad to assist them out on show floors, <a href="http://www.mercedesbenzfinancial.com" target="_blank">Benz Financial</a> announced today that it is distributing the 3G version of the Apple iPad to the entire Mercedes-Benz U.S. dealer network, giving all 355 dealers instant mobile access to its proprietary dealer point-of-sale system called MB Advantage.<br />
<br />
While iPad is normally described as a "consumer focused" device, Mercedes-Benz Financial became one of the first companies in the world to use the iPad for a business application.<p><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/05/mercedes-benz-to-equip-dealers-with-apple-ipads/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Mercedes-Benz to equip dealers with Apple iPads</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/luxury/" rel="tag">Luxury</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/car-buying/" rel="tag">Car Buying</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/mercedes-benz/" rel="tag">Mercedes-Benz</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/technology/" rel="tag">Technology</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/sedan/" rel="tag">Sedan</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/ownership-and-repair/" rel="tag">Ownership and Repair</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/10/05/mercedes-benz-to-equip-dealers-with-apple-ipads/">Mercedes-Benz to equip dealers with Apple iPads</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com">Autoblog Canada</a> on Tue, 05 Oct 2010 10:22:00 EST. Ford just launched a new print ad campaign for the 2011 Ford Edge. With echoes of "Mad Men" blatancy, the ad features a full-page photo of ruby red lips and a caption that reads, "The Edge understands 10,000 word commands."<br />
<br />
Readers opting to ogle the ad for a tad are expected to eventually notice that the cracks in the lips are actually an assortment of the voice commands that the MyFord Touch system understands.<br />
<br />
The second page of the ad spread shows a money shot of the newly redesigned crossover.<br />
<br />
The primed pucker in print is part of a multimedia marketing campaign expected to draw a lot of attention to the redesigned crossover, which just so happens to intimate similar sex appeal and a high tech flourish.<p><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/tech-savvy-campaign-launches-2011-ford-edge/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Tech-savvy campaign launches 2011 Ford Edge</em></a></p><p>Filed under: <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/luxury/" rel="tag">Luxury</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/crossovers-cuvs/" rel="tag">Crossover</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/ford/" rel="tag">Ford</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/toys-games/" rel="tag">Toys/Games</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/technology/" rel="tag">Technology</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/marketing-advertising/" rel="tag">Marketing/Advertising</a>, <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/category/performance/" rel="tag">Performance</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://ca.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/tech-savvy-campaign-launches-2011-ford-edge/">Tech-savvy campaign launches 2011 Ford Edge</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://ca.autoblog.com">Autoblog Canada</a> on Thu, 30 Sep 2010 10:03:00 EST.
