2013 Ford Mustang to get gauge and track apps?
It looks as if the 2013 Ford Mustang will receive a 4.2-inch LCD screen in its gauge cluster. Stang TV has gotten its hands on some photos of a few dealer training posters introducing the new tech, and the screen can be configured to display all sorts of important vehicle information. In addition to standard data like transmission and coolant temperature, owners will be able to keep an eye on cylinder head temperature, the air/fuel ratio and more. Now this is the kind of advance we get behind. Ford also appears to be readying a number of apps that drivers will be able to access through ... Read More

0Review: 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 1355504220
Ford Delivers on Short-Run M3 Fighter We'll be the first to admit that we get excited when we see special editions. No, not graphics packages, chrome wheels and bright coloured stitching but real, tangible tweaks to cars that are purpose-built. And by 'purpose' we mean for the track, yet still refined enough to live with on that sluggish commute to work. ...

Report: 2014 Ford Mustang details leaked, bye-bye Boss 302 1352321940
It seems that Ford has let slip the official order guides for its 2014 Mustang lineup. The changes for the upcoming model year are fairly minimal, as the car was just recently refreshed for 2013, and is expected to get an entirely new model in 2015. Sadly, for us and anyone else that has had the pleasure of driving it, the biggest news here is that the ...

Review: 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 [w/video] 1349971020
Who Are We To Argue With The World's Most Powerful Production V8? As you're surely aware by now, the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 boasts a 5.8-litre beast of an engine making 662 horsepower, partnered in crime by 631 pound-feet of torque. There seems little to gain in rehashing what we already know – namely, that the 2013 GT500 is fast. Stupid, ...

First Drive: 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 [w/video] 1337615820
The Biggest Hammer Of Them All Is Sharper Than Ever We would love to be able to look you square in the eye and say, "All you need to know about the 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 can be summed up in one figure: 662." After all, that's the obscene number of horsepower ripping at the rear tires courtesy of the supercharged 5.8-litre V8 under the hood. ...

Review: 2013 Ford Mustang GT 1332172800
Poor-Man's BMW M3 Is Sharper Than Ever Ford has been quietly blurring the line between muscle car and sports car since the 2010 Mustang debuted at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. Lighter, smaller and nimbler than rivals like the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger, the Mustang established itself early on as being just as happy on a road course as it ...

Review: 2012 Ford Mustang V6 1327078980
Cylinder-Envy No More My first car was a used 1981 Ford Mustang. It was a complete piece of garbage, but it was the best I could do with $900 worth of hard-earned busboy tips. It only had one side mirror, the power steering fluid had to be filled every two weeks and there was a nail in the dashboard. I would have removed that last bit of nonstandard ...

The Pony Car's Best Ambassador %Gallery-139314% Despite extolling their many carnal virtues for years, we know that there's still a sizable group of enthusiasts who have never managed to wrap their heads around the idea of owning a pony car. We've heard all the excuses before, from complaints about refinement, Jurassic underpinnings and muscle-straining ...

Review: 2012 Shelby GTS 1320944220
An Attempt To Bring The Shelby Name To The Masses %Gallery-139062% The Shelby name doesn't come cheap. Vintage Shelby Mustangs and Cobras can command six or sometimes even seven figure sums. The current Shelby offerings are much cheaper – the GT350 is priced around US$70,000 while the Ford-built GT500 is a little less expensive with a base price of ...

2012 Roush RS3 1315411020
Making A Case Against Increasingly Excellent Factory Options The last time we drove a Roush Mustang – a 2010 427R – we declared that the company had set the bar for Mustang tuners around the country. But that was nearly two years ago. Since then, the pony car landscape has evolved immensely. Ford has revamped the entire Mustang lineup, ...

Review: 2010 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe Road Test Review 1291169100
Bring it on! The Shelby GT500 and Bullitt special editions of the Mustang family may get all of the attention, but in truth the bulk of Mustang sales have traditionally been comprised of the humble V6-powered versions. This has always been the case with the Mustang--the fire-breathing muscle car versions have always shared showroom space with (and ...
